Eldridge Fan History
Eldridge Fan is the brainchild of L.C. Eldridge Sales Co. In June 2015, our team proposed the idea of using over seven decades of collective experience to design and build our own fan line. Our team knew that designing and building Eldridge Fans would satisfy our customer’s needs for a robust, dependable and cost-effective ventilation solution.
In The Beginning
Eldridge has been in the industrial and marine ventilation business since 1946. In that time, we had gained a vast wealth of experience knowing what did and didn’t work in the industry and for our customers. Our solid reputation for offering high quality equipment, application expertise and unparalleled service had led to steady growth. However, our team wanted to push the Eldridge brand reputation further and establish Eldridge Fan as a true global leader for ventilation solutions.
Carving the Path
The Eldridge team’s approach to ventilation solutions is to understand the problem, engineer a solution, and recommend quality equipment to meet the requirements. Over time, we had seen ventilation equipment manufacturers make incremental improvements to the functionality of the ventilation and acoustic equipment we provided to our customers. With these thoughts, our team went to the drawing board and spent countless hours designing, developing and producing our first fan prototype. We then spent additional hours testing and analyzing the prototype before we manufactured the first Eldridge Fan. Needless to say, we were overjoyed to see our ideas and work come to fruition.
Eldridge Fan Product Line
Looking at the diverse needs of our customer base from industrial to marine, we knew that we needed a versatile product line that would provide ventilation solutions for both light and heavy duty applications. Also, our fans needed to be efficient and flexible to be competitive in a highly competitive market. That is why every Eldridge Fan utilizes an airfoil propeller with adjustable pitch blades, and multiple hub configurations to meet a greater range of requirements.
Eldridge Fans were designed for use from Light and Heavy Duty Industrial to Marine applications and are available in diameters from 12” through 92” with airflow performances up to 120,000 CFM and 8” SP. For hazardous duty applications, our fans can be equipped with explosion proof motors and non-sparking rub rings. We have also designed a full line of complementary accessories for our fans to ensure that we can provide a complete ventilation solution.
Creating the Future
The Eldridge Fan product line started as a round table discussion to solve the needs of our customers. Now, Eldridge Fan is becoming an industry name, not from the reputation of L.C. Eldridge Sales Co., but for its durability, reliability and cost effectiveness. Looking back, that was the day our team grabbed their future by the horns and began to carve a path forward.
